Activ8Her Courageous Faith

The writer of Hebrews explained that “without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who passionately seek him” (Hebrews 11:6, TPT).
Someone once said, “faith is often spelled R.I.S.K.” Have you found that to be true? If there is a risk involved then anything done in faith requires courage.
Faith leads us to believe in Jesus and accept God’s invitation for salvation. This is a courageous step: acknowledging our need for a Savior.
As our faith begins to develop we are made aware that faith requires the courage to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV). God finds this pleasing because a person willing to take a step of faith—even when they cannot see—will find the rewards of faith.
What are the rewards of this courageous faith? Freedom:
from slavery to the law (Galatians 5:1).
from sin as your master (Romans 6:14).
to find rest for your soul (Matthew 11:29).
Every step taken in faith to eliminate whatever displeases God from our life is done courageously. But, we can do it when we understand the depth of God’s love for us and why.
“God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure” (Ephesians 1:5, NLT).
Together, we Activ8Her courageous faith through teachings that inspire us to change and trust He is with us every step of the way.
