#AriseEmpowered

By Sandy Creek Chapter Coordinator, Julie Reid

Spring, the season of renewal and rebirth, whispers its arrival through the delicate petals of the smallest flowers. These tiny blooms, seemingly fragile, harbor an unyielding spirit. They emerge from frost-kissed soil, their roots anchored in determination, and their faces turned toward the sun’s gentle touch.

In their miniature existence, they embody resilience. Despite the lingering chill, they stretch upward, reaching for warmth and light. Each petal unfurls like a promise—a testament to life’s unwavering persistence. Their colors—soft pastels and vibrant hues—paint hope across the landscape.

The snow may cling stubbornly to the ground, but these floral warriors defy the odds. They are the heralds of change, the messengers of transformation. Their emergence is not a timid whisper; it is a triumphant proclamation: “We are here!”

And so, they bloom—petal by petal, day by day—creating a tapestry of courage. Their fragrance dances on the breeze, inviting us to witness their quiet strength. They remind us that even in adversity, beauty can thrive. They teach us to embrace our own seasons of growth, to rise despite the odds, and to announce our own new beginnings.

So let us, too, #AriseEmpowered—like those first spring flowers—undaunted by imperfections, fueled by resilience, and bathed in the promise of brighter days.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9, NIV).
