Activ8Her Authentic Connection

Updated: Mar 20, 2023

The vision of Activ8Her is to empower women to recognize that their identity in Christ is key to living out their purpose. When we know who we are, we are able to live the life God intended.

Our core values are identity, influence, faith and relationship and our mission is to activ8te and empower women to connect in relationships, build confidence in our leadership and develop courageous faith.

What does all of that look like to Activ8Her? This week we’d like to share why one of our core values is the connection we create with one another through authentic relationships. Simply put, it is because God does.

Throughout Scripture we discover one characteristic of God is His love and desire to be in relationship with His people. Is it possible to find a better example of One who is willing to stick it out with people who find themselves caught up in a messy redemption cycle?

He’d instruct Moses to “Gather the people together before Me, so I may let them hear My words. Then they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and they may teach their children” (Deuteronomy 4:10 NLV). Because gathering to hear His words is important to God, it is important to Activ8Her.

We gather to hear His Words.

Acts chapter two offers us a glimpse of how the community of Believers lived among one another.

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved” (Acts 2:42-47, NLT)

We gather to see Him move within a community.

We can also read Paul’s letters to the churches to gain understanding of his longing for the body of Christ to live in such a way that “that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together” (1 Corinthians 12:25-26, ESV).

We gather to support one another.

At the core of Activ8Her you will find a connection that leads the women in the chapters to a place of authenticity. This creates a bond of support and care for one another.

If you are ready to gather with a group of women who want to hear God speak and see Him move within a community of Believers through love and care for one another, Activ8Her has a seat for you in one of our chapters.

This year we gather to discover our kingdom identity and reveal God’s kingdom to others.
