#Remaining Celebratory

Do I celebrate God’s Faithfulness? Oh the stories I could tell, we would be here until the end of time.

Do I celebrate God’s Mercies? Boy do I need that … everyday.

Do I celebrate God’s Goodness? Everything I am, have, and do testifies to His Goodness?

Do I celebrate God’s Grace? “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV).

Do I celebrate God’s Presence, His Forgiveness, His Power, His Access, His Healings, Gifts, Blessings, His Love, His Creation, His Word, Hope in Him, His Promises.

As I write this I can’t stop thinking of all the ways to celebrate Him. We celebrate a lot of things: first tooth, first smile, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, new jobs.

All these celebrations are because of God in my life.

Celebrations remind us of our history, where we have been, and where we are now.

On Christmas, Jesus’ birthday, we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There is a joy from the angels, a miracle in a manger, wonder from the Shepards, and gifts.

A celebration is an act of worship. We remember the goodness, provision, mercy, and power of God.

I was dancing the other day. Every move I made reminded me of the miracles He recently did in my life. I will never forget the pain I was in when I was unable to walk—and now I can. It brings me such joy.

I could celebrate God forever.

The other day I began to think about what would God want. What gift? I don’t know if I’m right but I think it would be WAG. Worship Him, grant Him Access, and Glorify Him.

My heart will #remaincelebratory to Him every day of my life. How about you? Will you prepare your heart to celebrate Him every day of your life, too?
